My every day hair products!

Ok babes! I have been getting a lot of questions on exactly WHAT I use to maintain my hair! So here it is! I’m breaking down the exact list of what products I use on the daily for my do!

First off, I have to be totally honest and tell you that I do not wash my hair every day. Yup, that’s right! It’s so much maintenance to suds up every single day, not to mention it’s great to give your hair a break from product and styling every 24/7! So when I don’t wash, I use the lifesaving dry shampoo. My absolute favorite brand is Batiste. I alternate between the original and the blonde shade. I especially like the Blonde for when my roots are growing out, because it helps to counteract the darkness! On the days I do wash, I am currently using thique shampoo. I use the volumizing shampoo and let me tell ya, it works! I usually alternate my conditioners but at the moment I’m loving Dove for damaged hair. It really helps to hydrate my hair overall!

After cleansing my hair I use my Nano thermal brush along with Garnier Fructis leave in conditioner. The bristles of this brush help to prevent breakage and the leave in conditioner helps to detangle my locks. A little bit goes a long way, I use about a dime size of the conditioner for my entire head of hair, But I DO NOT apply to my roots. I do not want the greaseball effect!

My go to blow-dryer is Jinri Paris professional. I section my hair tying it up with a jaw clip and start with the underneath layers and blow dry straight using my brush as my tool. When I reach the top section (the crown of my head) I spray in thick volumizing spray. The more volume the better! I love this blow dryer because it’s powerful for thick hair and gets the job done in 10 to 15 minutes!

Once my hair is COMPLETELY dry (this is important for curling, make sure your hair is 100% dry or your curl will not hold) I break out my Conair curling iron. I use the one inch barrel size. This has been my go to curling iron for the past 15 years! It never lets me down. I’m old school and do not use a wand. I like the old fashioned clamp. I section my hair with my jaw clip and start with the underneath layer working my way to the top. I curl away from my face leaving about an inch or half an inch section out and hold the curling iron for a count of 8 or 10 for each section. I also would like to note that I hold the barrel vertical to create the beachy waves that you always see me rocking. It takes about 8 to 10 minutes to curl my entire head of hair.

Once I finish curling my hair I set my style with TIGI Bed Head After Party. I stopped using hairspray and solely rely on this product to keep my curls intact! It does the job and smells great!
